How to map a Network Drive?
Step 1: Connect to Network Drive
Open File Explorer and navigate to the "This PC" or "Computer" tab.
Step 2: Add a Network Drive
- Select the "Mapping" tab from the top menu bar.
- Click on the "Add Network Drive" option.
3. Enter your username and password.
Step 3: Specify the Network Resource
- In the "Map Drive" window, choose the drive letter you want to use in the "Drive" section.
- Enter the path of the network resource in the "Folder" section (e.g., \\<VESSELNAME>Nas).
Step 4: Authentication
- Check the "Connect using different credentials" option if necessary, and enter your username and password.
- Check the "Remember my credentials" option if you want to save your password for the next session.
Step 5: Complete the Connection
Finish the process with a button like "Finish" or "Complete." After this step, you should be able to access the network drive using the chosen drive letter.
